Tourist Information Dublin

Dublin Zoo, Ireland

Dublin Zoo is one of Europe's oldest zoos and, conveniently located in the Phoenix Park, the Zoo is easily accessible by car and public transport.

There's a world of animals and a heap of surprises awaiting young and old at Dublin Zoo.

The Plains of Africa feature giraffes and zebras while there is a growing herd of Asian elephants in the Rainforest.

Tigers, hippos, bats, lions, rare monkeys, gorillas, orangutans, chimpanzees and red pandas are just some of the amazing animals you'll find waiting for you around every corner.

There's something for all the family at Dublin Zoo. You can attend keeper talks and attend animal feeding times. If watching the animals eating makes you hungry then you can visit the unique Meerkat Restaurant or one of the cafes or kiosks around the zoo. There are also some play areas for the younger children.
