Henry Street, Dublin.

Henry Street, on Dublin's Northside and is one of the two principal shopping streets of Dublin, running from O'Connell Street in the east to Liffey Street in the west. Henry Street continues into Mary Street on the west, which continues the shopping area.

Henry Street has been pedestrianised since the 1980's and is home to leading department stores Arnotts and Marks and Spencer and the ILAC shopping centre. The ILAC centre, which is the oldest shopping centre in the city, contains many interesting and low budget stores, as well as a large public library.

The newer Jervis Shopping Centre, with its entrance on Mary Street, includes many of the English chains such as Boots, Debenhams and Marks and Spencer.

The famous outdoor food market of Moore Street is just off Henry Street.

Arnotts the oldest department store in Dublin, stocks many fashionistas' favourite brands, Miss Sixty, Mango, Tommy Hilfiger and Pepe, to name but a few as well as a wide range of of collectibles, homeware, Irish Crystal and Irish Glass. Arnotts also has an impressive footwear and accessories collection.

There are over 200 shops on Henry Street including clothes, shoes, sports goods and jewellers. There's also a branch of Bewleys.

Buskers, including musicians, poets and mime artists, commonly perform to the shopping crowds.
