The National Wax Museum, Dublin
The National Wax Museum is a privately owned waxworks museum in Dublin, Ireland. On October 7, 2009, the museum officially re-opened following extensive renovation at its new location at Foster Place.
The Writers Room is a salute to the literary legacy of Ireland’s greatest writers.
The Time Vaults of Irish History represents the various stages of Irish history in the original old armoury vaults which formerly housed Ireland's gold and armour.
The Children’s Fantasy World is focused on children’s imagination and their curiosity, Children will feel like they’ve walked into a dream world where they can explore different worlds and meet the Simpsons and Harry Potter or watch a movie or puppet show.
The Grand Hall houses a musical dedication to Irish rock ‘n’ roll and film legends including U2, Phil Lynott and Liam Neeson.
Record in Wax allows visitors a chance to use sound equipment previously used by rock and pop legends such as REM, Snow Patrol and The Blizzards.
The Hall of Irish Legends here visitors will be introduced to some of the greatest Irish entertainment and sporting legends including TV's Gay Byrne and football's Jack Charlton.
Chamber of Horrors In the basement of the museum, visitors can enter at their own risk and come face to face with the infamous Buffalo Bill, Hannibal Lector or Dracula.
Irish Heros of Discovery The Science and invention wing of the museum pays homage to the dedicated Irish inventors, designers and scientists.
